Amazon Fired Employee For Unionising And Using Bathroom For 3 Minutes

ShrimpZoo, who used to work at Amazon, said on Twitter that he was fired because he didn’t ask permission to go to the bathroom outside his break. Many employees back ShrimpZoo and say that they have been treated similarly. People are sharing ShrimpZoo posts on social media and saying that the same thing has happened to them.

Today amazon gave me a verbal warning about going to the bathroom while not on break. They have a new rule they don’t allow bathroom breaks you have to get permission now. ShrimpZoo wants Amazon’s management to explain in writing why he was fired, and he is also thinking about taking legal action against Amazon.

I asked my boss at AMAZON to apply my paid time off he never did and told me if i wanted to go pee to walk to his office and let him know first. Then fired me for peeing and trying to form a union.
